WALTON — A 26-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging her with second-degree criminal mischief in connection with vehicle damage that exceeded $2,800.
Haley Macrabie of Walton was taken into custody by Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies on the warrant issued Monday by Walton Village Court, Sheriff Craig DuMond announced.
Deputies received a complaint May 30 about a vehicle that had been intentionally damaged.
The investigation determined the damage value exceeded $2,800, leading to the felony charge.
Macrabie was transported to the Delaware County Correctional Facility to await centralized arraignment processing.
Second-degree criminal mischief is a class D felony under New York state law.
