WETHERSFIELD — A Marlborough man has been arrested in connection with the vandalism of multiple turf fields at a local farm that caused approximately $250,000 in damage.
Dylan K. Swanson, 22, was taken into custody June 18 and charged with criminal mischief in the first degree.
The Wethersfield Police Department was notified Dec. 26 by the owner of the Winding Brook Turf Farm that multiple turf fields had been intentionally vandalized with a motor vehicle.
After a comprehensive investigation, police determined Swanson was the suspect.
An arrest warrant application was submitted and approved by New Britain Superior Court.
Swanson was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at New Britain Superior Court on July 9.
