ALBURG — A 34-year-old St. Albans man was arrested on multiple warrants Wednesday evening during a traffic stop on U.S. Route 2.

Vermont State Police troopers from the St. Albans Barracks stopped Quentin Wright at approximately 5:37 p.m. near Rocky Lane for an observed motor vehicle violation.

During the investigation, troopers discovered Wright had active court-ordered conditions of release that prohibited him from operating a motor vehicle.

Wright’s driver’s license was found to be under criminal suspension in Vermont.

Troopers also found Wright had multiple active warrants for his arrest.

The warrants were for charges of vehicle operation with license suspended for DUI and second-offense DUI.

Wright was arrested and transported to Northwest State Correctional Facility in St. Albans, where he was held on $1,500 bail.

He was issued a citation to appear before Grand Isle County Criminal Court on Aug. 7 at 9 a.m. for charges of driving with license suspended and violation of conditions of release.
