Boston police seek suspect in downtown Starbucks assault

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in connection with an assault and battery investigation at a downtown Starbucks.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:14 a.m. on Friday, June 6, at the Starbucks located at 8 Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

During the incident, an unidentified male suspect reportedly vandalized the store and threw metal cups, striking an employee.

The suspect is described as a white male of heavy build, wearing a grey t-shirt and black basketball shorts.

He was last seen fleeing into Quincy Market.

Detectives assigned to District A-1 are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
