Rhode Island state police arrest 4 in separate incidents

LINCOLN WOODS — Rhode Island State Police arrested four individuals in separate incidents between Tuesday and Wednesday on various charges including driving under the influence and outstanding warrants.

On Tuesday June 17 at 4:15 p.m., troopers arrested Tayler Milton, age 41, of 95 Lynch Street Providence, Rhode Island for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs with BAC unknown, refusal to submit to chemical test, and two counts of leaving the scene of accident resulting in damage to attended vehicle.

The arrest resulted from troopers investigating a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Route 95 in the City of Pawtucket.

Milton was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and later released with a future Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.

On Tuesday June 17 at 9:43 p.m., troopers arrested Santos A. Pabon Martinez, age 52, of 239 Public Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for driving under the influence of liquor with BAC unknown, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, first offense.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Hanover Street in the City of Providence.

Martinez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight as a probation violator.

On Wednesday June 18 at 1:45 a.m., troopers arrested Andrew S. Marketos, age 36, of 76 Beachmont Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, on a Third Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on the original charge of driving after suspension of license, fourth or subsequent offense, originating out of the North Providence Police Department.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Heath Street in the City of Providence.

Marketos was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.

On Wednesday June 18 at 2:19 a.m., troopers arrested Jesus Martinez, age 23, of 141 Chester Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, on an affidavit and arrest warrant issued by the State Police Traffic Safety Unit for eluding law enforcement high speed pursuit first offense, reckless driving first offense and obstructing a police officer in the execution of duty.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Thurbers Avenue in the City of Providence.

Martinez was processed at headquarters and held overnight as a probation violator.
