GRANVILLE — A 35-year-old man died Wednesday morning when his ATV crashed into a tree on North Hollow Road.
Vermont State Police responded to the single-vehicle crash at approximately 7:43 a.m. June 18.
Johnathan Belisle of Hancock was pronounced dead at the scene.
The initial investigation determined that Belisle was driving the Kawasaki Prairie ATV northbound on North Hollow Road when his vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree head-on.
Belisle was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Road conditions were wet due to rain at the time of the incident.
Valley Rescue and Deering’s Towing assisted state police at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
