DELHI — Sheriff Craig DuMond announced the arrest of a Delhi woman on aggravated unlicensed operation charges Wednesday.
Deputies observed a female using a mobile device while operating a motor vehicle Wednesday afternoon while on patrol in the Village of Delhi.
A traffic stop was conducted and the operator was identified as 31-year-old Arianna Kole of Delhi.
A routine check of the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that Kole’s driving privileges were suspended for failing to answer multiple summonses from the Town of Delhi Court.
Deputies arrested and charged Kole with one count of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, an unclassified misdemeanor.
Kole was issued traffic summonses for unlicensed operator and for using a mobile device while operating a vehicle, both violations of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
Kole was released on an appearance ticket and traffic summonses.
She was directed to appear in Town of Delhi Town Court at a later date.
