SPRINGFIELD — A 32-year-old Springfield woman was arrested May 28 after a brief foot pursuit when police located her on an active state warrant.
Officer Callahan found Cassandra Boardman at 78 Valley Street at approximately 3:05 p.m. while on patrol, according to the Springfield Police Department.
Boardman was taken into custody after the foot chase and transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing.
She was issued a criminal citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court May 28 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the alleged charge of arrest on an in-state warrant.
Boardman was subsequently lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $200 cash or surety bail.
Officers Woodell and Clark, along with Chief Burnham, assisted in the incident.
