Queensbury man arrested after altercation at Glens Falls event

GLENS FALLS — A 61-year-old Queensbury man was arrested June 14 after allegedly striking an attendee at a “No Kings” event on Centennial Circle.

Robert Hogan was charged with harassment in the second degree and disorderly conduct, both violation-level offenses, according to Glens Falls Police.

Police were notified of the altercation at about 10:50 a.m.

The incident was reported as Hogan striking a male attendee with his fist while on the sidewalk of Centennial Circle.

Hogan was arrested moments after the incident occurred.

Police found Hogan in possession of a tactical whip, though it was not reported that he brandished the weapon.

The victim did not report any injuries from the incident.

Hogan was released to appear in Glens Falls City Court at a later date.

Additional charges are being reviewed regarding possession of the tactical whip.
