CORTLANDVILLE — A 37-year-old Cortland woman was arrested Sunday night following a domestic disturbance that occurred in the presence of a child.
Kristina M. Gaul of Port Watson Street was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation.
Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a location on Route 13 in the Town of Cortlandville at approximately 9:46 p.m. June 15 for a report of a domestic disturbance.
Police determined that Gaul engaged in a physical altercation with a known victim while in the presence of a child.
Gaul was arrested at 10:53 p.m. and transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office for processing.
She was arraigned through the Centralized Arraignment Process at 9:00 a.m. June 16 and released on her own recognizance.
Her next court appearance is scheduled in the Town of Cortlandville Court on June 30 at 11:00 p.m.
