CONCORD — More than 100 traffic stops resulted in dozens of summonses and multiple arrests during a proactive Driving While Intoxicated saturation patrol in Belknap County.
The operation aimed to enhance public safety by detecting and apprehending impaired drivers.
On the afternoon and evening of Friday, June 13, State Troopers assigned to the Troop E barracks stopped 123 vehicles.
The stops resulted in 41 summonses for various violations and two arrests.
Shelly A. Bursey, 59, of Belmont, was arrested in Belmont on charges of driving under the influence – impairment, and improper backing.
Bursey is scheduled to appear in Laconia District Court on June 26.
Gordon M. Potter, 45, of Tilton, was arrested in Tilton on a charge of disobeying an officer.
Potter is scheduled to appear in Franklin District Court on Aug. 11.
