WOODSTOCK — A man was arrested early Sunday morning after police responded to reports of an intoxicated person walking in the roadway and on private properties.
Johney R. White III was taken into custody at approximately 1:28 a.m. at 18 Mill Road, according to the Woodstock Police Department.
Officer Arora responded to the scene after receiving reports of a disorderly intoxicated male in the area.
Upon arrival, police found the subject to be disorderly and intoxicated.
White was combative with officers and resisted arrest, police said.
He was transported to Southern State Correctional Facility following his arrest.
White was cited to appear in Woodstock court to answer charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Officer Arora was assisted by Windsor County Sheriff’s Deputy Watrous and Sheriff Palmer.
