LINCOLN WOODS — Troopers arrested George Hooker, age 54, of 91 Claybourne Street, Apartment #3, Dorchester, Massachusetts for simple assault and/or battery at 4:57 p.m.
The arrest resulted from Lincoln Police Department requesting assistance at Bally’s Twin River Casino for a large disturbance and troopers subsequently responding.
Hooker was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released from custody.
At 12:16 a.m., troopers arrested Christopher Rene, age 34, of 1800 Douglas Avenue, Apt. 322, North Providence for an affidavit and arrest warrant for possession of Schedule I-V and conspiracy, originating out of the Warwick Police Department.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Cedar Street in the City of Pawtucket.
Rene was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing and was later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.
