WATERBURY — A 35-year-old Troy man was cited Sunday morning after police found him with a motorcycle he did not have permission to operate.
Vermont State Police responded to a report of a suspicious male sitting outside a business near Park Row at approximately 6:15 a.m. June 15.
Investigation revealed that Joshua Staples did not have permission to operate the motorcycle he was with.
The owner, Benjamin Adams, 39, of Waitsfield, later reported the motorcycle stolen and was informed of its whereabouts.
Staples was issued a criminal citation for operating without owner’s consent and various Vermont criminal vehicle complaints.
