AUBURN — Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office Custody and Special Patrol Officer Todd Fischer has died, the agency announced.
Fischer served as a custody officer with the sheriff’s office from 2005 to 2018.
He worked as a special patrol officer in the court security division from 2018 until his death.
The sheriff’s office said Fischer also served in the military.
No cause of death was provided by the agency.
