WEATHERSFIELD — Three individuals wearing dark clothing and hooded sweatshirts fled on foot after being confronted by a homeowner while prowling around a property on Grid Lot Road this evening.
Sheriff Palmer, Deputy Brown, and Deputy Howe along with K9 Kye responded to the report of prowlers in the area of 1034 Grid Lot Road, according to the Windsor County Sheriff’s Department.
The three suspects were seen snooping around the property before fleeing when confronted by the homeowner.
The Windsor County Sheriff’s Department and Springfield Police Department conducted a thorough search of the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
The sheriff’s department is asking residents to remain vigilant, keep their doors locked, and report any suspicious activity immediately by calling 911.
