WICKFORD — At 1:00 a.m., troopers arrested Reynier Nina, age 30 of New Bedford, Massachusetts.
He was charged on an affidavit and arrest warrant for bank fraud with three counts, fraudulent checks over $1,500 with three counts totaling $16,100, and a Second District bench warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of operation under foreign license, originating out of the Portsmouth Police Department.
This arrest was the result of a barracks investigation conducted by troopers.
Nina was taken into custody at Providence Police Headquarters and transported to State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight as a bail violator.
