CHICOPEE — Police officers and detectives are actively investigating a shooting that occurred in the area of Crescent Drive and Eastern Avenue.
The Chicopee Police Department is asking residents to seek alternate routes while the road remains closed for the investigation.
Police said there is no threat to the public at this time.
Authorities are requesting that residents in the area who may have video footage of the incident email it to DB@Chicopeepolice.com.
