ALBANY — Officers responded to a residence on the 500 block of Livingston Avenue for a domestic dispute between brothers around 7:20 p.m. Thursday.
Upon arrival, officers attempted to separate the two when several other family members intervened, ultimately becoming physical with the officers.
During the incident, one officer sustained a bite wound to his forearm, while another officer was punched in the face, causing injury.
Both officers were treated at the scene and transported to Albany Memorial Hospital for further medical attention.
Four individuals were arrested in connection with this incident.
Joseph Allen, 26, of Albany has been charged with one count of obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.
He was given an appearance ticket and will appear in Albany City Criminal Court on a later date.
Felicia Allen, 24, of Albany has been charged with two counts of assault in the second degree, one count of obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, and one count of resisting arrest.
She was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court Friday morning and released under the supervision of Albany County Probation.
Amy Allen, 18, of Albany has been charged with one count of obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.
She was given an appearance ticket and will appear in Albany City Criminal Court on a later date.
A 17-year-old male whose name will not be released due to his age has been charged with one count of obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.
He was given an appearance ticket and will appear at Albany County Probation on a later date.
