Albany police arrest 4 in March homicide

ALBANY — Albany police have made several arrests in connection with a homicide that occurred in March on Boenau Street.

On Wednesday, March 26 around 4:00 p.m. officers responded to the dead-end street of Boenau Street for reports of a deceased body.

Upon arrival, officers located 24-year-old Jamier Allen of Albany deceased in the eastern part of the wooded area.

The victim’s cause of death was determined to be multiple gunshot wounds.

During the investigation, detectives determined that a vehicle intentionally set on fire in the area of Delaware Street and Eagle Street on Saturday, March 22 around 10:45 p.m. driven by the victim was directly connected to the homicide investigation.

22-year-old Anarion Bace of Albany has been charged with one count of Arson 3rd and one count of Conspiracy 4th.

Bace was arraigned in Albany County Court this afternoon and remanded to the Albany County Jail.

20-year-old Jeyson Guerrero of Albany has been charged with one count of Murder 2nd, one count of Conspiracy 1st, one count of Conspiracy 2nd, one count of Conspiracy 4th, one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd, and one count of Arson 3rd.

He was arraigned in Albany County Court this afternoon and remanded to the Albany County Jail.

20-year-old Malachi Davis of Albany has been charged with one count of Arson 3rd and one count of Conspiracy 4th.

He was arraigned in Albany County Court this afternoon and remanded to the Albany County Jail.

A 16-year-old male whose name will not be released due to his age has been charged with one count of Arson 3rd and one count of Conspiracy 4th.

He was arraigned this afternoon in Albany County Court and remanded to the Capital District Juvenile Secure Facility.
