ALBANY — Vermont State Police are investigating an unlawful mischief incident involving damage to a farming field and the removal of two roadway signs on Wylie Hill Road.
Daniel Riendeau, 37, of Albany reported finding multiple tire marks in his crop field on May 21 at 11:57 a.m.
Two road signs — a 30 mph sign and a Craftsbury Road/Strong Road sign — were removed from their locations and found on Wylie Hill Road.
The signs were later retrieved by the Agency of Transportation.
Riendeau told police the incident occurred between late evening May 19 and May 21.
The offender remains unknown.
