LINCOLN WOODS — Members of the Lincoln Woods Barracks along with members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Anthony Correa, age 38, of 149 Burnside Street, Providence, on Wednesday at 7 a.m. on an affidavit and arrest warrant.
Correa was charged with robbery in the second degree, simple assault, failure to stop for accident resulting in damage to attended vehicle, possession of a controlled substance I-V under 10 grams, and driving with a suspended license fourth or subsequent offense.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation, and the HIDTA Task Force subsequently located Correa in the city of Cranston.
Correa was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
On Thursday at 2:53 a.m., troopers arrested Pedro Lopez, age 48, of 390 Mineral Spring Avenue, Pawtucket, on two bench warrants.
Lopez was charged with a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for pretrial conference on the original charges of domestic violence simple assault originating out of the Central Falls Police Department.
He was also charged with a Kent County Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for pretrial conference on the original charges of domestic violence violation of no contact order third offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Broad Street in the city of Pawtucket.
Lopez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.
