LEWIS — Daniel A. Cross, 30, was arrested June 5 at 8 a.m. on a warrant issued by the City of Plattsburgh Court, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.
Cross is charged with criminal possession of controlled substance in the seventh degree, criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree involving scales, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree involving a firearm.
The warrant was issued after Cross allegedly failed to appear for an arraignment on the charges.
Cross was arraigned in the City of Plattsburgh Court and released on his own recognizance.
He is scheduled to reappear in court at a later date.
The New York State Police assisted the Sheriff’s Office with the arrest.
