UTICA — A 16-year-old male was arrested June 10 in connection with a September 2024 burglary and vehicle theft on the 1300 block of Conkling Avenue.
Police said suspects broke into a business by damaging a door and window, then stole two vehicles after taking keys from inside the establishment.
The stolen vehicles were later recovered, and investigators identified two juvenile suspects through their investigation.
An investigator with the Juvenile Aid unit located one suspect and issued an appearance ticket returnable to Oneida County Family Court/Probation.
The teen faces charges of burglary in the third degree, grand larceny in the third degree and criminal mischief in the second degree.
Police said efforts continue to locate the second juvenile suspect.
