BRADLEY — Brandon Harvey, 43, of Glenburn was arrested at 9:33 p.m. Monday on Government Road in Bradley following an extensive search operation across multiple towns.

Harvey was wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred Monday, June 9, on McCarty Road in Glenburn.

The victim of the shooting is currently hospitalized in serious condition, while another individual sustained minor injuries and has been treated and released.

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office conducted search operations across Glenburn, Kenduskeag, Bangor, Carmel, Newport, and Bradley.

Deputies and a K9 unit from the Sheriff’s Office focused their efforts on Penny Lane in Bradley before locating Harvey on Government Road.

Harvey surrendered peacefully to deputies and was taken to the hospital to address minor injuries he had sustained prior to his apprehension.

The Sheriff’s Office said the search faced challenges due to a lack of cooperation from some individuals, but many community members provided valuable information.

Sheriff Morton said Harvey has a substantial criminal history.

The Sheriff’s Office thanked the Penobscot Regional Communications Center for assistance throughout the investigation.
