9 arrested on drug charges in Olean

OLEAN — Nine people were arrested this morning on drug charges following an early morning search warrant executed by the Emergency Response Team and Street Crimes Unit.

The warrant was served at 119 N. Clinton St., where approximately 25 grams of cocaine was seized.

Dysean Peterson, 27, was arrested on two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.

Peterson was also arrested on an outstanding indictment warrant for previous sales of fentanyl in the city.

Tobias Price, 47, of 120 S. 3rd St., was arrested on an outstanding indictment warrant charging him with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree.

While at the police station for booking, Price attempted to flush cocaine down a toilet that was hidden on his person.

The cocaine was seized and Price was charged with another count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and tampering with evidence.

Logan Shearer, 29, of 813 Wayne St., was arrested on an indictment warrant charging him with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree for selling fentanyl and carfentanil.

Dillon Lichy, 28, of 4116 Center St., Salamanca, was arrested on an indictment warrant charging him with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree for selling fentanyl.

Rebecca Rivera, 47, of 122 1/2 S. 3rd St., was arrested on an indictment warrant charging her with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth degree for selling prescription pills.

David Brooks, 54, of 122 S. 3rd St., was arrested on an indictment warrant charging him with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth degree for selling prescription pills.

Jesse Connor, 46, of 422 East State St. Apt. 119, was arrested on an indictment warrant charging him with two counts each of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree for selling crack cocaine.

Thomas Cashmore, 39, of 144 South Union St., was arrested on an indictment warrant charging him with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree for selling crack cocaine.

Tia Barber, 22, with no permanent address, was arrested on an indictment warrant charging her with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree for selling crack cocaine.

The indictments resulted from investigations conducted by the Street Crimes Unit with assistance from the Southern Tier Drug Task Force.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department assisted with today’s arrests.
