Woman cited in retail theft at convenience store in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD — A 48-year-old Plainfield woman was cited for retail theft at a Springfield convenience store Tuesday morning.

Officer Callahan responded to Penguin Mart at 50 Clinton Street at 6:48 a.m. May 7 for a report of alleged retail theft.

The suspect was identified as Kimberly Jeanne Duprey following an investigation.

Duprey was later located on Valley Street and issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit in Woodstock.

She is scheduled to appear July 1 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the alleged charge of retail theft.
