RANDOLPH — Vermont State Police arrested a 49-year-old man on an aggravated disorderly conduct charge following a noise complaint Sunday night.

Leonard Moffatt of Randolph was taken into custody after troopers responded to a residence at 11:02 p.m. June 8.

Police said their investigation determined Moffatt had disturbed the peace of a specific person and made continued direct threats toward another person.

Moffatt refused to exit his residence during the incident, according to police.

Troopers applied for and were granted a warrant to take Moffatt into custody.

Police said Moffatt was later located and arrested without incident.

He was transported to the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks for processing.

Troopers later transferred custody of Moffatt to Probation and Parole.

Moffatt was cited to appear before Orange County Superior Court Criminal Division at a later date.
