FAIR HAVEN — A 25-year-old Wallingford man was arrested June 8 on multiple charges including first-degree aggravated domestic assault following a domestic dispute.
Ryan A. Worchester faces charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault, unlawful restraint, burglary, lewd and lascivious conduct, simple assault, reckless endangerment and criminal threatening.
Police responded to a reported domestic dispute on First Street at 4 p.m. June 7.
Through investigation, police learned Worchester allegedly broke glass to unlock a door and entered the residence while holding a gun.
Worchester allegedly refused to allow the victim to leave the home and at one point threatened to kill the victim and himself during the incident.
Worchester eventually left the residence.
The Rutland County Sheriff’s Department located Worchester in Wallingford, where he was taken into custody and transported to Fair Haven.
Worchester admitted to his involvement in the incident during an interview with police.
He was arrested and lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Center after being ordered held without bail.
