GLENBURN — The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting on McCarty Road that left one person in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
A second individual was treated for minor injuries following the incident.
Two people have been identified as persons of interest in connection with the shooting, including Brandon Harvey, 43, of Glenburn.
One person of interest contacted the Sheriff’s Office as of 10:30 p.m., but the search continues for a second individual.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene following the shooting.
A vehicle linked to the suspect has been found in Bangor.
Investigators are exploring several leads and consider the persons of interest dangerous.
The public is advised not to approach the individuals if spotted.
The Maine State Police and Glenburn Fire Department are assisting with the investigation.
