East Hampton police arrest 3 on various charges

EAST HAMPTON — Police arrested three people on various charges between June 6 and June 10, according to a department press release.

Joseph Farias, 40, of 10 Mohican Trail, East Hampton, was taken into custody June 6 pursuant to an active warrant and charged with risk of injury to a child, disorderly conduct and assault of a person with an intellectual disability.

Farias was released after signing a $25,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Middletown Superior Court on Monday at 9 a.m.

Taylor White, 31, of 13 Maple St., East Hampton, was arrested June 9 for third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

White signed a $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Middletown Superior Court on Tuesday at 9 a.m.

Jeremy Webster, 50, of 10 Childs Road, East Hampton, was taken into custody June 10 pursuant to an outstanding active warrant and charged with third-degree larceny.

Webster was unable to post a $50,000 court-set bond and was held in custody until his arraignment Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Middletown Superior Court.

Between June 2 and June 8, officers responded to 12 medical calls, four motor vehicle accidents, three alarms and made 17 traffic stops.
