Boston police seek help identifying attempted break-in suspect in Dorchester

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual in connection with an ongoing investigation into an attempted breaking and entering incident.

The incident occurred on Friday, June 6, at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Beauford Lane in Dorchester.

A victim reported that an unknown suspect attempted to gain entry into their residence but was unsuccessful.

The suspect is described as a Black male, wearing a black ski mask, a black t-shirt, and black shorts.

Detectives assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident and urge anyone with information to contact them directly at (617) 343-4275.
