BATH — An officer with the Village of Bath Police Department observed a male subject appearing under the influence of narcotics in Pulteney Park on June 9 around 3:40 p.m.
Officers made contact with the male to check his welfare.
The male was in the public park in the vicinity of multiple children and families and quickly determined to be under the influence of narcotics.
The male was identified as Christopher R. Heath, age 53, of Bath.
As a result of the investigation, Heath was arrested for NYS PL 240.40-Appearance in Public Under the Influence of Narcotics or a Drug Other Than Alcohol.
Heath was issued an appearance ticket, due in Village Court at a later date, and was asked to leave the park.
