POWNAL — Two juveniles were airlifted to Albany Medical Center after a UTV crash during a motocross event on private property Saturday evening.
The crash occurred on Furlong Road at approximately 8:27 p.m. June 7.
Vermont State Police were requested to assist at the scene and helped secure a landing zone for two LifeNet helicopters.
Both patients were flown to Albany Medical Center with what were later reported to be minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
The names of the juveniles are being withheld per Vermont State Police policy.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances in the incident.
Because the crash occurred on private property and not on a public roadway, it was not investigated as a motor vehicle crash.
