SPRINGFIELD — A 27-year-old Springfield man was arrested April 27 on charges of violation of conditions of release and resisting arrest.
Michael Mciver was taken into custody at 10:30 a.m. on Newell Road, according to the Springfield Police Department.
Officer Freeman was assisting Springfield Animal Control with an unrelated call when he observed Mciver allegedly violate his conditions of release.
Mciver was transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing.
He was issued a criminal citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division Windsor Unit on April 28.
Mciver was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
