LEWISBORO — A Bronx man was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop on Interstate 684 June 5.
Christopher T. Vinson, 43, was pulled over at approximately 9 p.m. by troopers assigned to a multi-agency proactive patrol detail for violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law while traveling northbound in the Town of Lewisboro.
During the investigation, troopers searched the vehicle with consent from Vinson and discovered approximately 137.6 grams of mushrooms, 10.5 ounces of cannabis and other drug paraphernalia.
Somers BCI Investigators charged Vinson with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 2nd degree, a felony.
He was also charged with two counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the 2nd degree, both misdemeanors, and unlawful possession of cannabis – more than 3 ounces or 24 grams, a violation.
Vinson was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lewisboro Court on June 16 at 5 p.m.
