Middletown woman arrested on drug charges at Wallkill train station

WALLKILL — A 24-year-old Middletown woman was arrested on drug possession charges after police found her under the influence of narcotics at a train station Tuesday evening.

Loerli Davila was charged with criminal possession of controlled substance third degree and other offenses following her arrest at 8:41 p.m. June 3 at the Metro North Train Station at 100 Healys Way.

Town of Wallkill Police Officer Michael Medina responded to a welfare check complaint and found Davila sitting on the curb of the train station platform appearing to be under the influence of narcotics.

A search led to the recovery of 760 glassine envelopes containing a white powdery substance that tested positive for heroin and fentanyl, and six pills of Alprazolam, police said.

Davila was also charged with false personation, criminal impersonation second degree, appearance in public under the influence of narcotics and public health law possession of controlled substances by ultimate users original container.

She was released with an appearance ticket to appear before Judge Peter Green at Town of Wallkill Court on June 18 at 9:00 a.m.

Davila is additionally being held on a bench warrant for criminal possession of controlled substance third degree with the New York State Police.
