LYNDONVILLE — A 40-year-old woman was arrested early June 6 on charges of driving under the influence of drugs after police found her unconscious behind the wheel of a running vehicle.
Jennifer Combs was discovered at 12:24 a.m. in a 2008 Toyota Yaris parked at the park and ride near the Covered Bridge on Center Street, according to the Lyndonville Police Department.
Officers on patrol noticed the vehicle running with Combs slumped over and apparently unconscious inside.
Police determined Combs was in physical control of the vehicle and impaired by drugs following their investigation.
Combs was taken into custody and processed for DUI.
She was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Criminal Court on Aug. 4 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charge of DUI drugs.
After processing, Combs was left in the custody of the Department of Corrections as an incapacitated person.
