CORTLANDVILLE — A 37-year-old woman was arrested on drug-impaired driving charges after deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in a moving vehicle, according to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.
Miranda A. Achorn of State Route 41 in Homer was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, along with three traffic infractions.
Deputies responded to the intersection of McLean Road and State Route 281 at approximately 11:30 p.m. June 4 for a report of a domestic disturbance occurring in a moving vehicle.
Officers located the vehicle on State Route 281 and conducted a traffic stop.
Deputies determined Achorn was driving while impaired by drugs and arrested her at 12:05 a.m. June 5.
Achorn was also charged with moved from lane unsafely, no turn signal and inadequate muffler, all infractions.
She was transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office where she was processed and released on appearance tickets.
Achorn is scheduled to appear in Town of Cortlandville Court for arraignment at 2:30 p.m. June 23.
