EXETER — Two vehicles were damaged and two people were injured in separate but similar incidents on Route 101.
State Troopers assigned to the Troop A barracks responded to the two incidents between 9:40 p.m. and 10 p.m. Thursday.
The first incident happened on Route 101 westbound in Exeter.
The second occurred minutes later, on Route 101 westbound in Auburn.
In both incidents, the victims were driving in the right lane when the occupants of a passing vehicle caused the windows of the victim’s vehicles to shatter.
Two juvenile passengers in one of the damaged vehicles suffered minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital for a precautionary medical evaluation.
Troopers secured both crime scenes and detectives responded to the scene to process evidence and interview witnesses.
Due to the ongoing investigation, details about the suspect vehicle are being withheld at this time.
State Troopers were assisted during the investigation by members of the Auburn Police Department, Candia Police Department, Auburn Fire Department, and the Candia Fire Department.
All aspects of these incidents remain under investigation.
