Rhode Island police arrest 4 on domestic violence, drug, theft charges

PROVIDENCE — Troopers arrested Carmen Gonzalez, age 53, of 154 Morin Heights Boulevard for two counts of domestic violence violation of a no contact order at 11:50 a.m.

The arrest resulted from troopers responding to Sixth District Court where sheriffs had Gonzalez in custody.

The subject was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed and transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment.

At 11:17 p.m., troopers arrested Dimitri Dorley, age 31, of 337 Plain Street, Providence for possession of a Schedule I-V less than 10 grams of crack cocaine.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Francis Street in Providence.

The subject was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a future 6th District Court date.

At 1:51 a.m., troopers arrested Darren Ogbemudia, age 23, of 26 Sanford Street, Providence on an affidavit of arrest warrant for larceny of a motor vehicle originating from the Johnston Police Department.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in Pawtucket.

The subject was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing and later turned over to the Johnston Police Department.

At 2:03 a.m., troopers arrested Karleen Fernandes, age 35, of 45 Baldwin Street, Pawtucket for driving under the influence of liquor with BAC unknown, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, first offense.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on North Main Street in Providence.

The subject was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
