SWANTON — A 27-year-old man was arrested June 5 on charges of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child.
Dylan Franolich of Swanton faces two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child, according to Vermont State Police.
The investigation began May 16 when the Vermont State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations and the Vermont Department for Children and Families received a report from a mandated reporter.
Franolich was taken into custody without incident June 5 and transported to the St. Albans State Police Barracks for processing.
He appeared before Franklin County Superior Court at 1 p.m. June 5 to face the charges.
Following arraignment, Franolich was transported to the Northwest State Correctional Facility and is being held without bail.
Vermont State Police do not release the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
An affidavit of probable cause will be filed with the court.
