GRANVILLE — The Vermont State Police received a report of a shooting incident that occurred in early April on Vermont Route 100.
The incident happened between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on April 8.
Investigation revealed that Mark S. Balch, 34, of Granville, discharged his firearms recklessly on multiple occasions.
One shot struck the front fender of a moving vehicle driven by Sonni Martindale, 50, of Duxbury.
Martindale was uninjured in the incident.
Balch was cited on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment and unlawful mischief.
He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Addison Criminal Division, on June 9 at 12:30 p.m.
