Saranac motorcycle crash leaves woman in critical condition

SARANAC — State Police responded to a car versus motorcycle collision on Route 3 at approximately 10:34 p.m. June 2.

A gray 2020 Dodge pickup truck driven by 60-year-old Rocky L. Kramer of Cadyville was traveling west on Route 3 when it attempted to turn left into a driveway.

The truck failed to notice a white 2007 Honda motorcycle operated by 27-year-old Olivia A. Penry of Saranac traveling east on Route 3, resulting in a collision.

Penry was ejected from the motorcycle and transported to CVPH.

She was later airlifted to the University of Vermont Medical Center, where she is listed in critical condition.

Kramer was issued a vehicle and traffic ticket for failing to yield the right of way on a left turn.
