Rutland woman arrested on 4 cocaine sale charges

RUTLAND — Sara E. Moses, 44, of Rutland was arrested Tuesday on four counts of sale of cocaine following a months-long drug investigation.

The Vermont Drug Task Force arrested Moses after the Rutland City Police Department executed a search with assistance from the Vermont State Police Field Force Division and drug task force detectives.

The arrest stemmed from an investigation into Moses’ distribution of crack cocaine in Rutland City.

The investigation involved multiple controlled purchases of crack cocaine from Moses beginning in February.

Moses was transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks for processing and later issued a criminal citation on four counts of sale of cocaine.

She is scheduled to appear for arraignment July 7 in the Criminal Division of Vermont Superior Court in Rutland.

The Rutland County State’s Attorney’s Office is prosecuting the case.
