PROVIDENCE — Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Somath Van, 26, of 21 Sprague St., on June 2 on an affidavit and arrest warrant for sex offender registration violation.
Van was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the Providence Police Department.
Separately, members from the Special Victims Unit arrested Jose Klein, 20, of 5 Stacy St., Barrington, on June 2 for third-degree sexual assault.
Klein was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a future court date.
