MONTEZUMA — A Port Byron woman was arrested for allegedly driving her children to a park so they could physically fight other juveniles, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.
Amanda L. Streeter, 38, was charged June 3 with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Deputies were dispatched around 9 p.m. May 25 to a complaint involving multiple juveniles physically fighting throughout the day.
Through an investigation, authorities determined that Streeter had intentionally driven her children to a park to physically fight other juveniles, Sheriff Brian Schenck said.
Streeter was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Montezuma Court on June 18 at 7 p.m.
