MARCY — A motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon injured two people when a pickup truck backed into their path on Fox Road.
Mark Polmatier, 67, of Holland Patent was driving a 1996 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Fox Road around 12:12 p.m. with passenger Candice Polmatier, 68, also of Holland Patent, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
Rebecca Hayes, 39, of Marcy, was backing a 2024 GMC pickup truck out of a driveway when she struck the motorcycle, Sheriff Robert Maciol said.
Both motorcycle passengers sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Wynn Hospital by Kunkel Ambulance.
Hayes was issued a ticket for unsafe backing and is due in court at a later date.
