JEFFERSONVILLE — A 55-year-old Underhill man was cited for retail theft after allegedly stealing a pocket knife from a local hardware store.
State Police received a report June 4 regarding a theft that occurred at Aubuchon Hardware in Jeffersonville on June 3 at approximately 12 p.m.
Investigation revealed that Pepper Hawkins stole a folding pocket knife valued at $27 from the store.
Troopers located Hawkins and issued him a citation.
Hawkins is ordered to appear at Lamoille County Superior Court Criminal Division on July 9 at 12:30 p.m.
