GRAFTON — The Grafton Police Department investigated a report of a suspected dangerous weapon at Grafton High School on Tuesday.
The school was placed in lockdown while police worked with school officials to determine the authenticity and location of the suspected weapon.
The suspected weapon was found off school property and determined to pose no threat or safety concern to the school or community.
Police Chief Neil A. Minardi thanked school administration and staff for their professionalism and assistance in resolving the situation.
